⚠️ Reminder: Be Mindful of What You Post Online
Parents are advised not to post identifiable information of players on social media.
Social media can be a fun way to share your child’s soccer journey—but it can also unintentionally expose personal details. AYSO asks all families to be cautious and respectful when posting anything related to AYSO events or players.
📵 What Not to Post (per AYSO Safe Haven Policy):
-
First and last name of a minor
-
Name and location of a player
-
Team rosters with names or contact details
-
Photos of players other than your own child (without permission)
When in doubt, don’t post. It’s always better to protect our players' privacy.
📸 Photo Sharing Best Practices:
-
Only post pictures of your own child, or
-
Ask permission from the other child’s parent before sharing
-
Avoid tagging locations or using team names in posts
Let’s all work together to provide a Safe Haven—both on and off the field—for every AYSO player.
